Lakeside North Harbour is supporting local communities across Portsmouth and beyond by hosting a Wellbeing Week, with free webinars and classes, in celebration of National Work Life Week from 12- 16 October.

Sessions are available to all – simply register for the classes that draw your fancy, and take the time to focus on your physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.

Monday 12th October

  • 11am-12pm: Work, sleep, play – how to find the right balance. Hear from Dr. Caroline Horton, Reader in Psychology and Director of DrEAMSLab, about the true importance of sleep… REGISTER HERE
  • 2-3pm: Maximise your mindset – breakdown barriers and understand the importance of emotional intelligence with Craig from Living your Learning. REGISTER HERE
  • 5.30-6.30pm: Pilates with Sweat Southsea – ease into Monday with a strengthening session. No experience necessary, this class is designed for all abilities. REGISTER HERE

Tuesday 13th October

  • 10-11am: Nature’s positive impact on wellbeing – the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust explore the five ways to wellbeing and top tips for you. REGISTER HERE 

Wednesday 14th October

  • 1-2pm: Monitoring wellbeing around the clock – explore the science behind sleep and dreaming with Dr. Caroline Horton. REGISTER HERE
  • 5.30-6.30pm: HIIT with Sweat Southsea – blow off the mid-week blues with our high-impact HIIT session. No experience necessary, this class is designed for all abilities. REGISTER HERE

Thursday 15th October

  • 10-11am: How does the food you eat affect your wellbeing? Elior explores the importance of nutrition. REGISTER HERE
  • 2-3pm: Skills and your wellbeing – take the time to focus on your skills and training with the Solent Apprenticeship Hub and boost your mental health. REGISTER HERE

Friday 16th October

  • 1-2pm: Mindfulness for beginners – learn about the principles and benefits with South Coast Mindfulness. REGISTER HERE
  • 6-7pm: Guided meditation – refresh your mind and restore your energy to start the weekend right. REGISTER HERE
