Lakeside brings you not one, but twelve days of Christmas for our occupiers to enjoy!
Day 1 – Festive Floral Workshop – create a Christmas table centrepiece with our resident florist Donna from Flueressence on Monday 5th December, spaces are limited so please book here.
Day 2 – Pantomime with The King’s Theatre – Cinderella comes to Lakeside! Come and meet the cast of Cinderella, including Prince Charming (Grant Urquhart – star of Channel 4’s First Dates), the Fairy Godmother (Jack Edwards), Buttons (Joe Rowntree) and of course Cinderella herself (Michelle Antrobus). Bring your children to meet them all and join in at 1.30pm-2pm on Wednesday 7th December everyone is welcome and the more the merrier.
Dress up like a Dame! We’ll be running a competition for three occupiers to have a chance to dress up like a dame or an ugly sister! Costumes, wigs and make up provided by the professionals at The King’s Theatre. We’re just looking for three volunteers and the best dame will win four tickets to the show! Please email now to enter.
Day 3- Christmas Lunch in The Hub – enjoy turkey and all the trimmings with your team in The Hub restaurant on Wednesday 7th December.
Day 4 – Honey Tasting & Christmas Jumper Day – wear your favourite festive top and join Linda our resident Bee Keeper to taste delicious honey from our Lakeside Bees. You’ll also be able to buy a pot of honey (great Christmas gift!) from Linda. She’ll be in The Atrium from 12 noon on Thursday 8th December.
Plus something special happening will also be happening in The Atrium on Thursday 8th December, but it’s a surprise, so you need to be there at 1pm to find out!
Day 5 – Gingerbread Houses – we’ll be judging the best entry in our Gingerbread House Design competition on Friday 9th December, you’ll see them in The Atrium. Please email the Helpdesk if you’d like to enter and we’ll delivery a house to you to decorate.

Day 7 – Gingle Bells Gin & Rum Tasting – courtesy of The Portsmouth Distillery taking place on Tuesday 13th December from 12 noon in The Atrium.
Day 8 – Another festive feast to enjoy in The Hub on Wednesday 14th December.
Day 9 – Santa Charity Fun Run – we’re inviting twelve occupiers to take part in a run around the lake to help raise money for a local charity, we’ll provide the Santa suit! Please email the Helpdesk to volunteer – spaces are limited. The run will take place at 1.30pm on Wednesday 14th December.
Day 10 – Christmas Cocktails Mixing Masterclass – join the experts and master mixologists from The Alchemist to learn how to wow and to make cracking Christmas Cocktails! There will be two classes held in the Business Lounge in B2000 on Thursday 15th December at 12.30pm and 1.15pm – spaces are limited please book here now.
Day 11 – Carols & Mince Pies – for all to enjoy in The Atrium at 12.30pm on Friday 16th December when we’ll be joined by children from Tops Day Nursery who will be spreading Christmas cheer by singing loud and proud for all to hear (quote by Elf!).
Day 12 – Final Festive Feast in The Hub – will be served on Wednesday 21st December.
