Multinational tech giant is latest to join Business Innovation South Expo
The Business Innovation South Expo, the region’s top event for science, technology, engineering (STEM) and business innovation, has announced its latest big-name partner.
British multinational BAE Systems is showcasing a range of developments focused on environmental sustainability and sponsoring the event’s Tomorrow’s Business World zone.
This is an area of the expo that features university STEM research and opportunities for businesses to collaborate on its commercialisation. Seven of the South’s universities are involved.
Antony Mrozicki, Head of Innovation Labs at BAE Systems, said: “We are hugely invested in the South’s economy and we have many supply chain partners here.
“The Business Innovation South Expo gives us an ideal opportunity to highlight what we are progressing on the theme of technology, see what others are doing and share knowledge together.”
Expo organiser Lara Bull said: “#BIS2022 is all about being relevant and relatable to businesses and SMEs and putting STEM right at the forefront of the South’s economic growth and transformation.”
The Business Innovation South Expo takes place at Lakeside North Harbour in Portsmouth on 14 September 2022.
