Simply join us at the Main Reception in Building 1000 at 12.30pm on 4 December.  What better way to spend your lunch hour!

Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather.  The walk may be cancelled if the weather conditions are unsuitable.

We’re running a free line dancing session with Laura from Dance Fusion.

Come along and learn to line dance, we guarentee you’ll have some fun and definitely be smiling at the end of it.

New Lakeside Photography & Creative Image Group

Do you love taking photos on your phone or camera, want share ideas, be inspired by others and explore Lakeside?

This group will meet every month on the second Thursday of the month at 1pm in the Winter Garden Café in building 2000. Each month there will be a creative theme and there will also be some opportunities visit non-public parts of the campus.

Chris Gambs from Knights solicitors will be leading the group and looks forward to meeting you for a creative lunch hour.

We are also excited to announce that we are bringing back the Lakeside Photography Competition. The summer competition for occupiers to enter, will run until 30th August. The selected best images will be displayed at Lakeside with prizes of £50 vouchers for the best three.

Net Zero 360 is exceptional development programme that is specifically tailored to benefit SME-sized organisations .

It is a game-changer offering free in-person workshops for any interested party. These workshops are designed to be interactive and informative, offering a chance to learn, interact and network with other like-minded individuals.

The workshops are tailored to give you a solid foundation, including a practical and step-by-step guide on how to measure, monitor, and improve your organisation’s carbon footprint. The programme is unique and informative, building your green credentials and enabling you to have informed discussions with your supply chain to help you on your net zero journey.

This FREE training offered by a partnership including Southampton and Portsmouth City Councils comprises:

•            The role of SMEs in addressing climate change.

•            Strengthening business resilience and innovation to meet customer’s needs sustainably.

•            Measurement and calculation of greenhouse gas emissions.

•            Creation of a Carbon Reduction Plan that sets emission reduction targets.

•            Access to a free online carbon calculation tool (with ongoing advisory support).

A series of training days has been arranged over the next 12 months in Southampton and Portsmouth and more will be added to meet demand.

Lakeside Lunchtime Running Club

Come and join us on the monthly Lakeside networking run club supported by Knights solicitors.

Meet at 12 noon in the Winter Gardens café in Building 2000. The aim of the group is getting to know other businesses on the campus with some social paced running.

Each event starts with businesses having a few minutes to talk about what they do followed by a 5k easy paced run around the lake aiming to be back at the café before 1pm.

Knights will then provide cake and a drink, so you can continue your conversations with time to be back at your desk after your lunch hour.

The run will be led by Chris Gambs – Knights partner – come along and meet other active businesses.
