We are inviting occupiers at Lakeside to kick off the year at our Class of 2025 Welcome Party — a fast‑paced, game‑fuelled lunchtime with F1 simulators, Catch the Light, no‑beer beer pong, plus plenty of pizza and nachos.

We recently reached out asking for nominations for our 2026 Charity of the Year, as our 2024/25 partnership with Portsmouth Hospitals Charity soon comes to an end, and we weren’t disappointed.

Lakeside are gearing up for a week of sustainability-focused fun as part of Recycle Week. Here’s what’s happening:

Recycle week: Lakeside Tote Bag Giveaway- Recycle & Be Rewarded, with Hube and the Gang

• From Monday 22nd to Friday 26th September, Reception’s 1000 and 2000 Lakeside will be running a week-long tote bag giveaway for occupiers who help to recycle the Top 5 Most Missed Items across the UK.

Recycle Week: Eco Drift Pop-Up at Reception 1000

• As part of our Recycle Week celebrations, Lakeside will welcome Eco Drift to site on Tuesday 23rd September for a special pop-up event in Reception 1000.

Recycle Week: Refresh your wardrobe sustainably at our clothes swap event

• On Wednesday 24th September Lakeside are excited to invite occupiers to the upcoming Clothes Swap Event — a fun and eco-friendly way to refresh your wardrobe while reducing waste.

Recycle Week: HIPPO Waste Rolls In with a 26-Tonne Message

• On Thursday 25th September, HIPPO will be bringing in their 26-tonne grab truck, complete with a crane and the ever-popular HIPPO mascot, to help shine a spotlight on how we manage and recycle our waste responsibly.

Alongside these Recycle Week specific events the Lakeside book swap will still be available in the Winter Garden and near the Amazon lockers located in B2000. The Hub will also be saving their coffee grinds for keen composters.
