As we approach the end of our partnership with Fair Ways, our Charity of the Year for 2023/24, we reflect on the incredible impact they’ve made on the lives of children in their care. Your support has been invaluable, and now it’s time to embark on a new journey with a fresh cause to champion.
We invite anyone who works at Lakeside, to help us choose our next Charity of the Year and you can cast your vote via the My Lakeside app.
We’ve received several nominations from local charities, each of which does extraordinary work in our community. Now, we need your help to decide which of these deserving organizations will receive our collective support for the coming year.
The British Heart Foundation is dedicated to funding research and providing education and support to prevent heart diseases. By voting for BHF, you’ll be supporting life-saving research and helping to save countless lives.
Mind is committed to providing advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. A vote for Mind means contributing to better mental health services and ensuring that no one has to face a mental health problem alone.
The Portsmouth Hospitals Trust provides high-quality healthcare services to our local community. By choosing this charity, you’ll be helping to improve patient care, fund vital medical equipment, and support the dedicated staff who work tirelessly to save lives.
The Elizabeth Foundation offers support to deaf children and their families, helping them learn to listen and talk. Your vote will help this foundation continue its essential early intervention programs and support services for families dealing with hearing loss.
