There’s nothing quite like the hustle and bustle of the office… But as lockdown measures ease and more people return to the workplace, we know that there will be new challenges to tackle along the way.
To support our occupiers, Lakeside is offering a new webinar series that aims to help our community navigate the transition back to the office.
Research by the Mental Health Foundation has shown that emotional and mental wellbeing are showing positive signs of recovery, but resilience and coping strategies are still being tested and stretched. Lakeside has teamed up with Living Your Learning – local training specialists with over 20 years experience supporting people to evolve, adapt and achieve their goals – to deliver a four part lunch and learn series to prepare for change and to deal with stress and anxiety, as well as equipping attendees with the communication tools to maximise productivity.
In its unique position as a community hub, Lakeside is keen to support as many people as possible – both those who work across the campus every day, and the wider community that has been affected throughout the Covid-19 pandemic – with the series free to attend for the Portsmouth business community.
Simon Bateman, Lakeside North Harbour Asset Manager, commented: “Wellbeing is key to everything that we do at Lakeside, and we know that it is more important now than ever. As our occupiers return to campus, we want to ensure that they enjoy their experience and have the opportunity to work through any concerns or challenges in advance. We want to support our community and promote activity that supports a healthier, workforce, particularly during these difficult times – we hope that this webinar series will support anyone who is finding this period challenging.”
