The electric supply at Lakeside is currently a REGO-backed tariff from Bryt Energy, and applies to 100% of the grid electricity consumed onsite. Bryt Energy source 100% of their electricity from renewable sources; specifically solar, wind, and hydro.
By using the REGO-backed electricity it adds that extra layer of certainty to the source, as the REGO scheme is run though OFGEM.
Lakeside will soon be generating more of its own electricity on site, read about this project here, further details on the start of this major initiative will be posted shortly.
